Prof. Kwame Adom is an exemplary leader in academia and entrepreneurship, serving as the founder and Chief Clinician of Entrepreneur’s Clinique (Management Consulting Firm). With extensive experience in venture creation and management, his primary mission is to foster innovation while ensuring that clients consistently leave with smiles. Balancing his roles as an academic and entrepreneur, he brings a unique perspective to business development and management.
In academia, Prof. Adom is an Associate Professor of Business at Burman University in Canada. Before that, he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School’s Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship. With over a decade of teaching and research experience, he is deeply committed to advancing knowledge and driving academic excellence. His contributions extend to the Enterprise Development Service (EDS), now part of UGBS Executive Development, where he has been instrumental in nurturing future business leaders. Prof. Adom boasts an impressive educational background, including a PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of Sheffield Management School in the UK, an MBA specializing in Finance from the University of Leicester, UK, a Bachelor of Science in Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the UK.
As a dynamic entrepreneur, Prof. Adom launched Entrepreneur’s Clinique in 2015, a leading consultancy that empowers businesses through expert advice and management solutions. His expertise includes new venture creation, social entrepreneurship, business planning, growth strategies, and entrepreneurial marketing. He is passionate about training individuals and institutions, equipping them with essential skills to thrive in competitive markets. His global experience in the UK, Europe, and North America, especially Canada, provides him with a profound understanding of the global entrepreneurship ecosystem. With his exceptional blend of academic knowledge and entrepreneurial insight, Prof. Adom is a transformative leader poised to drive innovation and growth in the business community, promoting personal success and contributing to broader economic goals.
In March 2016, he trained about 100 young entrepreneurs in business planning. In August 2017, he completed customer training for Airport Clinic Management and Staff in Accra. Since September 2018, he has been featuring on OKFM Abeeku Santana’s programme every Monday until Covid-19 came on the Entrepreneur’s Clinique session, offering free practical and workable Business advice. He is a trainer under the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) was the first trainer for the 5-page business plan competition organised by NEIP in 2018. He is an expert in managing business growth and sustaining it. He has trained people not only in Ghana but also in London and Canada. He prides himself in designing strategies for creating and delivering corporate value without compromising clients’ benefits and paying high-level attention to details. He has a strong background in customer service, design and management, research and analytical skills.
He is a team player with good interpersonal skills and has helped many individuals and organisations design and implement projects successfully, offers strategic business advice to individual entrepreneurs and corporate bodies and organises training courses in entrepreneurship and marketing. He is currently helping some entrepreneurs in Accra design strategies to manage and sustain their business growth across varied sectors of the national economy. His international exposure across the United Kingdom, Europe and North America, especially Canada, has granted him more knowledge and experience dealing with global corporate marketing and entrepreneurship issues.
