Prof. Kwame Adom is a distinguished leader in academia and entrepreneurship, serving as the Founder and Chief Clinician of Entrepreneur’s Clinique, a management consulting firm dedicated to venture creation and business growth. With extensive experience across entrepreneurial development, management, and consulting, his mission is to inspire innovation and deliver transformative results that leave clients satisfied. His dual role as an academic and entrepreneur gives him a unique perspective on business strategy, development, and management.
In academia, Prof. Adom is a Professor of Business at Burman University in Canada. Previously, he served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School’s Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research, he remains committed to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and promoting academic excellence. His impact extends to the Enterprise Development Service (EDS), now part of UGBS Executive Development, where he played an essential role in mentoring emerging business leaders.
Prof. Adom’s educational background is equally impressive. He holds a PhD in Management (Entrepreneurship Focus) from the University of Sheffield Management School (UK), an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Leicester (UK), a Bachelor of Science in Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK.
As an entrepreneurial practitioner, Prof. Adom founded Entrepreneur’s Clinique in 2015 to support businesses with expert guidance and management solutions. His areas of expertise span new venture creation, social entrepreneurship, business planning, growth strategy, and entrepreneurial marketing. He is passionate about equipping individuals and institutions with practical skills to thrive in competitive markets. His international exposure across the UK, Europe, and North America, particularly in Canada, provides him with deep insights into global entrepreneurship landscapes. His potent blend of scholarly knowledge and practical experience positions him as a transformative leader committed to driving innovation, personal development, and economic advancement.
His training and consulting experience are extensive. Here are a few examples: in 2016, he trained over 100 young entrepreneurs in business planning, and in 2017, he delivered customer service training for Airport Clinic Management and staff in Accra. From 2018 until the onset of COVID-19, he regularly featured on OKFM’s Abeeku Santana program, offering free, actionable business advice through the Entrepreneur’s Clinique segment. He also served as a trainer under the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) and was the inaugural trainer for the 5-page business plan competition on December 18, 2018. Renowned for his ability to design strategies that create and deliver corporate value, he is recognised for his attention to detail, commitment to client benefits, and strong competencies in customer service, research, design, and analytics.
A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal abilities, He has supported numerous individuals and organisations in designing and successfully implementing business and marketing projects. He continues to provide strategic advisory services to entrepreneurs and corporate bodies and facilitates training programmes in entrepreneurship and marketing. Currently, he is assisting several entrepreneurs in Accra in developing strategies to sustain business growth across multiple sectors of the national economy.
